Lam Pao Dam

We are at a nice view of Lam Pao Dam.               Take a photo to confirm that we went there already.

Lam Pao Dam. It borders Tambon Lam Pao, district Muang;Tambon Nong Bua, district Nong Kung Si; and Tambon Woe, district Yang Talat. The earthern dam is 33 meters high. The crest of the dam is 1.8 meters long, and 8 meters wide. A channal was drug to link both reservoirs, which can hold 1,430 million cubic meters.


We are enjoying lunch beside Do Ket Beach.     Take a photo at a nice viewa and beautiful atmosphere.
Aside from thet, we can breed for fish and relax at spot for the public; Dok Ket Beach.




Suan Sa-on

Here  is Suan Sa-on.               Takeaphotowitha lovely deer.                                                                                            

Lam Pao Wildlife Conservation development promotion station or Suan Sa-on
is located near Lam Pao Dam with 1,420 rai.Inside is an open Zoo, It's open everyday from 7:00 am.- 6:00 pm. Visitors can stay or do camping. There are two routes to get here. Take the same route as going to Lam Pao Dam 4 kilometers or take the kalasin - Sahatsakhan (Highway No.227) for 19 kilometers.




Sirinthorn Museum












Sirinthorn Museum and Phu Kam Kao Dinosaur Excavation Site. We can taking the Kalasin - Sahatsakhan route (Highway No.227). Situated near the foothill of Phu Kum Khao in Wat Sakkawan. There are fossil bones around 130 million year ago. Phu Kum Khao is considered to be the largest and most perfect concentration of dinosaur fossil in Thailand. Phrae Wa Silk












It's about 70 kilometers from Kalasin on Highway No.227. Phrae Wa Silk is a unique style of the Phu Thai ethnic ground of Ban Phon. Here is OTOP Village Champion. H.M. Queen Sirikit has been supporting ang promoting silk until it has become known locally and internationally.




Kalasin Museum


























Located at the former city hall of Kalasin. Here show the collections of good things in Kalasin. The museum rooms features showcasing the ways of life of the Phu Thai people and demonstration of  Phrae Wa silk. The museum is open every Monday to Friday from

Wat Putthanimit ( Phu Khao )








Located at Ban Na si Nuan,about 7 kilometers from Sahatsakhan and 4 kilometers from Phu Sing. There is rock relief of ancient Buddha, Wihan Sangkhanimit, also the temple has an open  beautifully wooden Ubosot. The temple is open for  interested visitors every day.







Wat Pho Chai Semaram or Wat Ban Kom





Wat  Pho Chai  is  situated at Ban Sema, opposite the entrace to Fa Daet Song Yang.
It is an old temple with a huge collection of old boundary stones of gigantic sizes. There is one most beautiful boundary stone depicting the story when the Lord Buddha came back to Kapilavasdu. The original of this beautiful boundary marker is now located at the Khon Kaen National Museum.






 Mueang Fa Daet Song Yang








Mueang Fa Daet Song Yang is situated in Ban Sema, Tambon Nong Paeng. It is 19 kilometers from the city. Take Highway No.214 (Kalasin - Roi Et) for 13 kilometers until reaching Kamalasai district, then turn right along Highway No.2367 for 6 kilometers, turn right again for 400 meters to reach Fa Daet Song Yang.

Prathat Yakhu or Prathat Yai is the largest chedi in Fa Daet Song Yang. It made of bricks. Evidence shows that it was constucted for three periods; Dvaravati, Ayutthaya, Rattanakosin.
